Open profit at rollover raises tomorrow's floor

“My daily limit starts from yesterday's closed balance.”

BrightFunded takes the HIGHER of balance and equity at rollover. If you hold a winning trade overnight, tomorrow's floor starts from that higher equity — and if the trade then turns, you lose the open profit plus your full daily limit.

BrightFunded's own example, $100,000 account with an open trade at +$1,000 at rollover:

Equity at rollover$101,000higher than balance
2-Step Bright floor$97,000$101,000 − 4% of $100K
1-Step floor$98,000$101,000 − 3% of $100K

Things traders miss

A winning trade overnight raises tomorrow's floor.

The base is the higher of balance and equity at rollover. Close or protect open profit before 23:30 CET if you don't want it to set the bar.

1-Step trails your equity peak, not your balance.

A spike in open profit lifts the floor in real time — even if you never close the trade.

Hedging against another prop firm counts.

BrightFunded explicitly bans hedging between different prop firms, not only between its own accounts.

Rollover is European time.

23:30 CET is 22:30 UTC in winter. During summer time it may be 21:30 UTC — BrightFunded doesn't say.

A trading day needs 60 seconds.

Five days per stage, and a day only counts if a trade stays open at least a minute.
