“A 6% trailing drawdown follows me forever.”
On 1-Phase the 6% floor trails your highest balance until it reaches the starting balance — then it stops and stays there for good. Break works the same way at 4% (3% on $100K).

|---|---|---|---|
| Daily loss | 5% (2-Phase, Ascend, 3-Phase) or 4% (1-Phase, Instant) of your balance at 00:05 UTC. Breaches are calculated on equity. | Official | Terms §8, FAQ |
| Daily base wording | Terms count “open or closed” losses against the 00:05 balance; the FAQ says breaches are equity-based. Most likely: balance snapshot as reference, live equity as the test — neither page says it in one place. | Unclear | Terms vs FAQ |
| 2-Phase / Ascend | 10% static from the initial balance. Targets 8% then 5%. Optional add-on: 6% daily / 12% max. | Official | Terms §8 |
| 1-Phase | 6% trailing from the highest balance; locks at the starting balance once you are 6% up. Target 10%. | Official | Terms §8.ii, FAQ |
| 1-Phase trailing amount | Terms: 6% of the maximum balance. FAQ: 6% of the initial balance. They differ before the lock point; the calculator uses 6% of the initial balance, as in the FAQ example. | Contradiction | Terms vs FAQ |
| 3-Phase | 5% daily, 5% max of the initial balance, 5% target in each phase. | Official | FAQ |
| Instant | 4% daily, 6% total loss limit, 10% profit to scale. Up to 3 active accounts. | Official | Terms §8.v |
| Break | $25K and $50K: 4% trailing from the highest balance, locks at the start. $100K: 3%. Targets 5% / 6% / 6%. Final stage: no day above 40% of total profit, checked at payout. A separate daily limit is not stated. | Partly stated | FAQ |
| Minimum days | None for evaluations. No time limit. | Official | FAQ |
| Leverage | Bybit up to 1:100 by instrument; Student, Ascend and Instant: crypto 1:5. | Official | FAQ |
| Hedging | Opposite positions open together for 60 seconds or longer are prohibited; across your own accounts prohibited. | Official | FAQ, Terms §7.1 |
| Bots | HFT, tick-scalping, news and arbitrage EAs or bots banned. Whether other bots are allowed is not stated. Bybit accounts run on a sub-account and API key assigned by the firm — keep it active and unchanged. | Partly stated | FAQ |
| Fees in the drawdown | Whether fees, commissions or swaps count toward drawdown is not stated. | Not stated | FAQ |
Five minutes after midnight — and a separate $10,000 daily profit cap resets at 00:10 UTC.
To qualify for a final-stage review or reset, every trade must have had a stop-loss and none may have risked more than 2% of the account.
Opposite positions on the same instrument for 60 seconds or more count as reverse trading. BTC/USD against BTC/EUR counts too.
The homepage sells “Evaluation” and “Accelerated”; the terms describe 1-, 2- and 3-Phase. Check which rules your purchase actually has.
On Bybit accounts the firm assigns the API key; changing or disabling it is against the rules.
